The Super Pang Collection
An excellent port of the first three arcade versions of Pang, in one convenient Playstation package (plus, games on the Playstation are backward compatiable, so it works on PS2's and in theory PS3's as well). Includes Pang (which they call by it's Japanese title Pomping World, even on the European release), Super Pang, and Pang 3!.
Available as: The only difference between the PAL/EU and NTSC/J versions is the language. The game art wasn't localised, so the EU version uses the Japenese title Pomping World for Pang. Each game allows you to modify a whole bunch of settings such as starting lives, credits, even the point value of the balls. Switching between games is painless, and all support two player (which is more than can be said about the SNES Super Pang conversion). The only issues I have noticed is with the sound. There are some times gaps when a new track is loaded. Probably because they are streaming it off the CD without buffering the next track (I wonder how late in the development that testing was left ;-). When the sound is playing, it is of a high quality, and sounds like it has more tones than the original arcade versions did. In summary, a strongly recommended addition to any fan's collection, not least because you can play it on current consoles (Playstations), it is easy to play (just put the disk in), and is a high fidelity conversion of the arcade version.
